We want all your visits at our office to be a pleasant experience, starting with your first.  At your first appointment, Dr. Nguyen will discuss your specific concerns with you. He will then conduct a thorough orthodontic examination, offer the various treatment options, and suggest his recommended treatment with you. He will provide an estimate of the treatment time, along with a written
estimate of all costs and various payment plans available.  He will make sure that all of your questions are answered so that you may make the best decisions regarding your orthodontic care.

............................................................................................................................

The next step in getting started is to obtain various diagnostic records (X-rays, photographs and impressions of your teeth for study models). Dr. Nguyen will carefully analyze these records and formulate a customized treatment plan for you. He will communicate with your general dentist, in order to get his or her input on your overall dental health and proposed orthodontic care.

............................................................................................................................

Before orthodontic treatment begins, you will be asked to see your general dentist for a routine cleaning and checkup appointment. Dr. Nguyen will verify with your dentist that your teeth and gums are healthy. Since dental hygiene is so important, regular visits to your dentist must continue every six months during your orthodontic treatment (or more often, if necessary). Communication between you, your general dentist, and Dr. Nguyen is very important to the success of your treatment. Therefore, Dr. Nguyen will work hard to keep both you and your dentist informed about your treatment progress, from beginning to end.

............................................................................................................................

The cost of orthodontic treatment will depend on many factors, including the severity of the problem, its complexity, and the length of treatment.  Dr. Nguyen feels that everyone should be able to have a healthy and beautiful smile, and therefore will make every effort to make orthodontics affordable.  Our office has a variety of convenient payment plans to accommodate your needs, affordable monthly plans, as well as family plans when there is more than one family member in treatment.

We accept assignment from most insurance plans.  We will review your insurance information with you and help file the necessary claim forms to maximize your benefits.

We want to work with you to make your appointment times as convenient as possible. We also make every effort to be on time for our patients. Appointments are scheduled according to each patient's needs. Most patients are seen every 5 to 6 weeks to check their progress and to make adjustments. If there are specific situations that require more frequent monitoring, we will schedule appointments accordingly.

We understand that everyone's lifestyle has become very busy and demanding.  Therefore, we offer Saturday appointments.  For our patients who are students, we try our very best to schedule their appointments after school hours.  However, sometimes this is not always possible.  Since most appointments are scheduled 5 to 6 weeks apart, most patients will miss a minimal amount of school due to their orthodontic treatments.  We will truly make a sincere effort to meet your scheduling needs.
